DEATH OF A FATHER AND SERIOUS INJURY OF HIS SON IN A ROAD ACCIDENT IN SIDI IFNI

A person lost his life this Monday, March 18, while his son was seriously injured following a fatal road accident, after their light car overturned in the rural commune of Aït El Rkha, in the province of Sidi Ifni.

The deceased father accompanied his son on their return from the Aït Azzouz market, Aït El Rkha, before their car overturned in mysterious circumstances. The injured son was quickly transported to the Tiznit Provincial Hospital to receive the necessary treatment, while the father’s body was taken to the morgue.

Upon receipt of the alert, elements of the royal gendarmerie and the local authorities went to the scene of the accident in order to open an investigation into the circumstances and causes of the accident, and to take all measures necessary in accordance with usual procedures in such situations.
