HIBAPRESS – Casablanca
The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs has circulated the Friday sermon to various imams and preachers of the mosques of the Kingdom, which is the sermon that was chosen for the topic of the Great Battle of Badr and the lessons and implications derived from it, and it came as follows:
The First Sermon
Praise be to God, the Guardian of the believers, and the helper of the righteous, we praise Him, may He be glorified and exalted, for the blessing of faith and Islam, and we thank Him for what He has bestowed upon us of grace and honor, and we bear witness that there is no god but Allah, the King, the Holy, the Peace, and we bear witness that our master Muhammad is His servant and messenger, victorious in his faith and monotheism, and supported by the believing righteous from his family and companions, may God bless him and grant him complete prayers and peace with the perfection of his religion and Sunnah, and upon his good family and his blessed companions, the best of his nation, and those who followed his straight path until the Day of his intercession.
As for what follows: O community of believers, from the days of God Almighty upon our master Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and from the scenes of his fragrant biography is "the day of Badr the Great", which Muslims celebrate on the seventeenth of Ramadan of each year, drawing lessons and lessons from it, and thanking God Almighty for His grace upon his Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his companions who are sincere in their faith, and sincere in their deeds, and those who are around their leader and Imam, may God bless him and grant him peace.
So this battle has become since that day, an eternal faith school, and a renewed source for extracting lessons and benefits, at the level of creed, worship, morals, politics, in management, unity of the ranks, the justice of the cause, and the strength of leadership.
These and others are the reasons for victory and divine care for his allies, and the guarantor of divine companionship for those who are on the right and the support of its people.
The Holy Qur’an has singled out this battle with a complete surah, which is Surah Al-Anfal, highlighting the people of sincere faith, and reminding them of His great wisdom when He says:
﴾And [remember, O believers] when Allah promised you one of the two groups, that it would be yours, and you wished that the one without power would be yours. But Allah intended to establish the truth by His words and to eliminate the disbelievers to establish the truth and abolish falsehood, even if the criminals hated it﴿.[1]
Servants of God; Thus, the wisdom of God Almighty willed that the Muslims should go out in a small number and equipment, and Quraish went out in their full number and equipment, so the two groups met without a set time, as the Almighty said:
﴾And if you had made an appointment, you would have disagreed in the appointment. But [it was so] that Allah might accomplish a matter already done﴿[2].
Among the greatest lessons learned from the Battle of Badr:
First: That God Almighty is the supporter of His allies over what they are in terms of number and strength, because victory is from God, He grants victory to whom He wills, and He is the Strong, the Almighty.
Second: That the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his noble companions entrust their affairs to God, and do not dispute with Him in His kingdom, so submission was their concern, and satisfaction with God's judgment was their habit, and this is one of the great lessons of faith that the believer must be characterized by in all circumstances; as we do not always achieve the goals, but we must take the means, and the results are in the hand of God Almighty, and it is a great position among the positions of faith.
Third: That the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, continued to consult his companions throughout the way to Badr, and took their advice, and brought their matter together; this is because the unity of the ranks is one of the most important reasons for victory after faith in God Almighty, and it was stated in the biography and evidence that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:
“Advise me, O people.”
By that he meant the Ansar when the Muhajirun agreed to march towards the Quraish army,
Saad bin Muadh, may God be pleased with him, said – and he was from the Ansar: By God, as if you, O Messenger of God, want us? He said, may God bless him and grant him peace: “Yes.” Saad said: We have believed in you and testified to you, and we have testified that what you have brought is true, and we have given you our covenants and our pledges on hearing and obedience, so go, O Messenger of God, for what you want, we are with you, and by the One who sent you with the truth, if you wanted us to cross this sea, we would have crossed it with you, not one of us would have been left behind”[3].
Servants of God; In these words of Saad, there is a precious will, and a lasting advice on the necessity of adhering to the congregation of the Imam and listening to and obeying him in times of activity and dislike and all circumstances, and in unifying the word and the unity of the ranks in the issues of the nation, and it is one of the greatest reasons for victory and empowerment.
And that is what our ancestors did and followed in their lives in general, and in crucial situations in the history of Morocco and Moroccans.
May God bless me and you in the Qur’an and the Sunnah, and may He grant us all success in what is good for the world and the hereafter, and our last prayer is that praise be to God, the Lord of the worlds.
The Second Sermon
Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, the King, the Manifest Truth, and prayers and peace be upon the most honorable of the messengers, our master Muhammad, and upon his family and companions.
Servants of God; The one who contemplates Surah Al-Anfal benefits from it lessons, lessons and great meanings, we mention some of them:
From them: Focusing on sincere faith and its role in purifying the servant from the selfishness of the self and surrendering to the command of God, and that is what the first and following verses of the surah indicate:
﴾They ask you about the spoils [of war]. Say, "The spoils are for Allah and the Messenger, so fear Allah and amend that which is between you and obey Allah and His Messenger, if you should be believers." The believers are only those who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts are fearful, and when His verses are recited to them, it increases them in faith; and upon their Lord they rely﴿[4].
And the spoils are meant by the spoils.
And from them is the attribution of the action to God Almighty, after fulfilling the duty of compliance, the doctrine of the people of monotheism is that the action is for God Almighty and for the servant from it is the acquisition, the Almighty said:
﴾And [it was] not you who threw when you threw, but it was Allah who threw﴿[5].
From them: The obligation of hearing; hearing acceptance and compliance with the command of God and His Messenger, and for those whom God has appointed the affairs of the Muslims, for His saying, may He be glorified:
﴾O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and do not turn away from him while you hear and do not be like those who say, “We have heard,” while they do not hear﴿[6].
From them: Responding to God and His Messenger, which achieves a good life that brings tranquility and peace of mind in the world and improves the affairs of the hereafter, for His saying, may He be glorified:
﴾O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life﴿[7].
From them: That reconciling hearts is from the grace of God upon His servants, which obliges them to thank.
From them: Consolidating the solidarity, solidarity and cooperation of the nation on righteousness and piety, for His saying, the Almighty:
﴾And if they intend to deceive you – then sufficient for you is Allah. He is the One Who supported you with His help and with the believers. And brought together their hearts. If you had spent all that is in the earth, you could not have brought their hearts together; but Allah brought them together. Indeed, He is Almighty and Wise﴿[8].
These, servants of God, are some of the indications of what the Battle of Badr included of benefits and pearls, and what was revealed in it of the clear statement.
And we draw from this great Battle of Badr these meanings, we thank God Almighty for what He has bestowed upon our country of great blessings, as He gathered our ranks and united our ranks around the Emirate of the Believers, who look after the security of the country and the people, and who is in charge of God's command in guarding the religion and the politics of the world.
As the Battle of Badr is one of the great positions in the biography of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his companions, we remember that on the occasion of the fifteenth century since the birth of the beloved Prophet, our master and prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, His Majesty, the Commander of the Faithful, the President of the Supreme Scientific Council, may God protect him and strengthen his command, out of his care for the position of prophecy, and performance of the trust of the message, sent a sublime message to the scholars and through them to the entire Moroccan people and to all lovers of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, to make this year a year of reminding of the duty of sincere love for the noble prophetic side; in order to study his biography, may God bless him and grant him peace, and to derive lessons and lessons from it, and to quote from its lights.
This; and bless and bless the one who, may God bless him with Himself, and blessed with the angels of His holiness, then commanded that to all His servants of jinn and mankind: He said:
﴾Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [Allah to grant him] peace﴿[9].
O God, bless and grant peace to our master Muhammad, whenever the rememberers mention you and him, and the negligent forget your mention and his, and O God, be pleased with his righteous successors; Abu Bakr, Omar, Uthman and Ali, and with all the honorable companions and those who followed them in goodness until the Day of Judgment.
And grant victory, O God, to your servant who is humble to your majesty and authority, His Majesty, the Commander of the Faithful, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, a victory that strengthens your religion, and raises up your allies, and grant him, O God, perfect health and beautiful well-being, and delight His Majesty with his beloved Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Moulay El Hassan, and strengthen his support with his happy brother, Prince Moulay Rachid, and with the rest of the members of the Sharifian Royal Family.
And have mercy, O God, with your pure grace and great generosity on the two great kings, our master Muhammad V, and our master Hassan II, O God, purify their earth, and honor their abode, and reward them with the best you reward the righteous for his righteousness.
O God, have mercy on us and have mercy on our parents, and all our dead and the dead of Muslims, and heal our patients and the patients of Muslims, and protect those afflicted and the afflicted of Muslims.
Our Lord, grant us mercy from Yourself and prepare for us from our affairs a right course.
Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Glory, from what they describe, and peace be upon the messengers, and praise be to God, the Lord of the worlds.
