Spanish press: “The Morocco-Spain match…an opportunity for revenge”

Some Spanish newspapers have considered the match between the Moroccan Olympic team and its Spanish counterpart in the men’s football semi-finals at the Paris 2024 Olympics as an opportunity to take revenge for what happened in the round of 16 of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

Mundo Deportivo newspaper said about the date of the next match between Morocco and Spain: “Revenge for what happened at the World Cup in Qatar.”

The newspaper continues its description of the confrontation between the Moroccan and Spanish teams in the semi-final of the Paris Olympics: “Fate wanted the teams of Spain and Morocco to meet again in a major tournament… This match is not only about competing for the gold medal, but will allow Spain to avenge what happened less than two years ago in Qatar.”

The match between the Moroccan Olympic team and its Spanish counterpart will take place the day after tomorrow, Monday, on the floor of the “Vélodrome” stadium in Marseille, starting at five o’clock.
