In commemoration of the glorious Throne Day and to celebrate the National Immigrant Day. The Anza Association for Migration and Diaspora Development is organized by its Anza branch, north of the city of Agadir. The third session of the Migrants Festival is placed under the slogan: “Our young people of the diaspora, talents and actors of development”. It is in partnership with the Regional Council of Souss-Massa, the Collective Council of Agadir and the Hassan II Foundation for Moroccans Residing Abroad, on August 9, 10 and 11, 2024, on the Corniche Anza Agadir.
And continues every year to fulfill its noble obligations. The Anza Migration and Development Association continues to raise important questions on the migration issue, organizing a scientific symposium moderated by specialized professors, as one of the main themes of the cultural activities of the current session.
This year’s session will also see the organization of three major artistic evenings with the participation of a group of selected artists, whom the festival management has wanted to represent the cultural diversity that distinguishes our beloved country.
In parallel, the course program will include organizing an exhibition of regional products to provide an opportunity for a group of young exhibitors from various regions of the country to exchange experiences and create economic diversity that helps encourage development ideas among young people in the region.
The programme also includes the organisation of an Al-Muhajir women’s football league and tribute sessions dedicated to some of Anza’s icons will also be celebrated as an initiative to encourage excellence.
As is well known, one of the main challenges of the festival is to contribute to consolidating citizenship between current and future generations. Thus, a summer retreat will be organized for members of the community to hone their talents and give them the opportunity to acquire new skills and discover various activities that strengthen their connection with their country of origin.
