A massive fire broke out about four days ago at the top of Mount Tiziran in Trabia, Chefchaouen province.
The fire mobilized the regional authorities of Chefchaouen, where teams of firefighters affiliated with the Civil Protection and forest rangers, supported by volunteers from the National Recovery Service, rushed to the scene to extinguish the fire as soon as it broke out.
The authorities were assisted by Kandar aircraft of the Royal Armed Forces, which carried out air sorties over the forest, allowing them to seal off the area while awaiting its final defeat.
