National executive Abdel Salam Wadou expressed his full support for national voter Walid Regragui, after the campaign launched by the Moroccan masses due to what they consider “Regragui’s interference in the powers of Sketioi.”
Abdel Salam Waddo posted a message on his official Facebook account in which he said: “My dear brother and former colleague. You have my full support to face this dirty and unfair campaign. As a patriotic voter, and as a big brother of this beautiful generation of Moroccan talents, we must be close to them.
Waddo continued: “Your presence to accompany Tariq Al-Saktiwi, whom I congratulate for his wonderful work, as well as his crew, is a duty. I also know Tariq, he is my former colleague, and I am sure that he could not tolerate anyone interfering in his work.
He concluded: “Those who called you a knight yesterday are the same ones who are spitting venom today. You have raised our flag high on the world stage. Keep up the wonderful work while the caravan moves on and the dogs bark…”
Walid Regragui, coach of the first Moroccan national football team, has been the subject of a campaign of widespread criticism following the national team’s defeat at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Some Moroccan fans considered Regragui’s actions irresponsible and included many insults towards the specialty of the coach of the Olympic national team, Tariq Sektioui.
