HIBAPRESS – Agadir
The motorcycle unit of the Agadir security district apprehended a 23-year-old young man on Saturday, September 5, 2026, on suspicion of involvement in reckless driving in public and causing noise with a car that had undergone technical modifications.
The apprehension of the individual came after security forces reacted to a video clip circulating on social media, documenting stunt maneuvers and loud noises emanating from the car. Investigations led to the identification of the suspect and the location of the vehicle.
A check of the vehicle's documents revealed that it did not have valid insurance. Technical inspection showed modifications to its specifications, particularly the exhaust system, which led to increased noise levels.
The apprehended individual was subjected to judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecution, while the car was impounded at the municipal garage, pending completion of legal procedures.
