A Saudi national died yesterday, Monday, after falling from the fifth floor of a residential building on Ibn Kathir Street, near the Najma area in the city of Tangier. The incident alerted security services, who immediately arrived at the scene upon notification.
According to available information, the deceased, who was in his sixties, breathed his last at the scene of the accident, suffering from severe injuries, fractures, and contusions sustained from the fall from a height.
The individual in question had recently rented an apartment in the building and had moved in before the incident occurred.
The circumstances of the Saudi national's fall remain unclear, while security services have begun their initial investigations. The area surrounding the building was cordoned off, and data related to the incident was collected in an attempt to determine its circumstances and whether the fall was accidental or caused by other factors.
It should be noted that, under the instructions of the competent public prosecution, the body of the deceased was transferred to the morgue for legal and medical procedures. Investigations are ongoing to uncover all details surrounding the incident and accurately determine its causes.
