A joint committee's inspection in Tangier revealed the seizure of a quantity of food and foodstuff suspected of being unfit for consumption, inside a warehouse belonging to a well-known cafe in the Souk Dakhil area.
The operation took place in coordination with the leader of the second administrative district in Tangier, and with the participation of the health office and health safety services. The inspection resulted in the confiscation and destruction of the materials concerned according to the established procedures, with the necessary measures taken by the competent authorities.
This operation comes within the framework of health monitoring and consumer protection, especially in establishments and facilities that offer food to the public, and to ensure compliance with the applicable health conditions.
