The Tangier Automotive City industrial zone in the Jamaa Ghouam'a municipality, in the province of Fahs-Anjra, regained its calm yesterday evening after the fire that broke out earlier inside one of the industrial units was brought under control.
Local authorities reported that Civil Protection teams managed to contain the flames and prevent them from spreading to other adjacent units, while field teams continue their interventions to extinguish the fire's core definitively, maintaining monitoring and precautionary measures to ensure the safety of people and property.
Regarding losses, preliminary data indicated that the flames affected parts of two adjacent industrial units, but the damage was limited to the external facades, with no significant losses recorded in machinery and equipment.
It is worth noting that no human casualties were recorded as a result of the fire.
