Elements of the Anasi district, affiliated with the Sidi Bernoussi security district in Casablanca, arrested on Friday a young man in his twenties, with a criminal record, on suspicion of his involvement in the smashing and damaging of a number of cars parked in the Anasi neighborhood.
The suspect's arrest came after the security services received notifications from citizens regarding cars being subjected to vandalism, before field investigations and inquiries led to the identification of his identity and hiding place.
The individual concerned was arrested around three in the morning and taken to the duty office, where he was placed under the applicable legal procedures, pending the completion of the investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecution, to reveal the circumstances and details of these acts and determine the extent of the registered damages.
