HIBAPRESS – Casablanca
Casablanca has topped the list of Moroccan cities in terms of the number of monitored events and demonstrations, ahead of Marrakech, Rabat, and Tangier, according to recent data from the "Tikettino" platform, which specializes in monitoring the dynamics of the events market in Morocco.
The platform's barometer, dated September 12, showed 402 events recorded in Casablanca, out of 1164 published demonstrations that included 63 Moroccan cities, making the economic capital clearly ahead of the other cities. Marrakech came in second place with 182 events, followed by Rabat with 163 events, while Tangier came in fourth with 78 events, representing 6.7 percent of the total monitored demonstrations, one event ahead of Agadir, which secured the fifth position.
The cities of Casablanca, Marrakech, and Rabat account for approximately 64 percent of the total registered events, indicating a significant concentration of the events market in major urban centers.
The platform's database, which excludes canceled forums, includes conferences, forums, training activities, concerts, sports events, and exhibitions, with an emphasis that the numbers reflect the volume of activity monitored on the platform and do not represent a comprehensive inventory of all events organized in Morocco.
Regarding access type, the data showed that paid events constitute the largest proportion, reaching 86.1 percent out of 969 events where the access type was specified, compared to 13.9 percent for free activities.
