“Confidential”: Morocco actively seeks to acquire a military submarine
Spanish media reported Morocco’s intention to strengthen its naval military capabilities by acquiring a submarine for the naval base located in the Ksar Al-Saghir region.
The newspaper El Confidencial Digital, citing what it calls sources within the Spanish Navy, claims that Morocco is actively seeking to strengthen its naval fleet with a submarine in the coming years.
The report prepared by the Spanish newspaper discussed Morocco’s significant improvement of its military arsenal over the past decade, including modernized F-16 fighters, an arsenal of advanced missiles, Abraham battle tanks modified in the United States, Predator drones, and the Mohammed VI satellite.
