HIBAPRESS – Casablanca
The city of Berrechid is witnessing, today, Wednesday, coinciding with the legislative elections, the movement of a number of candidates and their supporters to facilitate voters' access to polling stations, by providing cars to transport them to the polling centers, especially for voters residing in areas far from the polling stations.
These movements come amidst the efforts of various candidates to ensure the largest possible participation of their supporters in the electoral process, where a number of cars and means of transport have been mobilized to transport voters back and forth, a scene that has become present in a number of areas during election day.
While some candidates present these initiatives as a way to help voters reach polling stations, transporting voters on election day remains a sensitive issue, especially when directly linked to election campaigns or attempts to influence voters' choices.
The voting process continues in Berrechid in an electoral atmosphere where observers await the extent of citizen turnout at polling stations, awaiting the announcement of official results and the new balances that the ballot boxes will reveal at the constituency level.
