HIBAPRESS – Casablanca
Initial results of the legislative elections in the city of Casablanca show the victory of Mohamed Joudar, candidate for the Constitutional Union Party, in securing a parliamentary seat, according to provisional data following the completion of vote counting at a number of polling stations.
Joudar managed to achieve a result that enabled him to clinch one of the parliamentary seats, thus adding a new seat to the Constitutional Union Party's tally in the legislative election, pending the completion of the compilation of minutes and the approval of the final results.
This result comes in the context of the successive release of initial results in various electoral districts, amidst the ongoing counting, tallying, and data compilation operations from polling stations, and the follow-up by parties and candidates on the progress of the competition.
These data remain preliminary until all stages of the electoral process are completed and the final results are approved and officially announced by the competent authorities.
