HIBAPRESS – Rabat
Fatima Zahra Al-Mansouri, coordinator of the collective leadership of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), has opened the door to the possibility of her being tasked with heading the next government, following her party's top results in the legislative elections of September 23, 2026.
Al-Mansouri affirmed, during a press conference held by the party at its headquarters in Rabat, that the appointment of the Head of Government remains the prerogative of King Mohammed VI, emphasizing that discussions about the name of the next Head of Government are still premature.
Al-Mansouri said she would be happy if the King chose her to undertake the responsibility of leading the government, considering that her appointment to this task would be "a great honor."
Al-Mansouri stressed that the Authenticity and Modernity Party welcomes any decision the King makes within his constitutional powers, pointing out that the issue of appointing the Head of Government does not fall to the party leadership.
