Weather/warning level alert “orange”: intense heat wave

Hot weather is expected today, Sunday, August 11, 2024, in several provinces of the Kingdom, with temperatures ranging between 42 and 47 °C, announced the General Directorate of National Meteorology in an alert bulletin with an “orange” level of vigilance.

Temperatures between 42 and 44°C are expected in the provinces of Ouezzane, Moulay Yacoub, Fez, Taza, Sefrou, Taounate, Sidi Kacem, Khénifra, Azilal, Khouribga and Al Haouz.

This phenomenon is also expected with temperatures ranging between 43 and 47°C in the Provinces of Fquih Ben Salah, Béni Mellal, Settat, Marrakech, Kelaàt Sraghna, R’hamna, Zagora, Taroudant, Tata, Guelmim, Assa-Zag, Boujdour, Smara and Oued Ed-Dahab.
