HIBAPRESS has learned from informed sources that a number of suspects in the election papers case that occurred at the polling station in Al-Quds School in the Kassabrata area of Tangier are currently being presented before the Court of Appeal in the city.
According to available data, this involves four individuals who are currently in custody pending investigation, along with a witness who is being treated in a state of freedom. This is in the context of investigations initiated by the security services under the supervision of the Public Prosecution regarding the incidents that accompanied the elections of September 23rd.
The presentation of the suspects comes days after investigations related to the seizure of election papers within the vicinity of the polling station. It is expected that the coming hours will reveal the decisions to be taken by the Public Prosecution regarding those concerned, and the nature of the acts attributed to them.
