HIBAPRESS – Casablanca
After being liberated from its exploiters, local authorities in the Bernoussi area of Casablanca have begun rehabilitating the "Kalsa" located between Imam Malik Street and Janin Street, transforming it into an entertainment space for the benefit of the area's residents.
This step comes within the framework of re-utilizing the space after it was cleared of illegal activities and exploitations that the area was known for. The authorities are working on preparing and equipping the place to make it more suitable for receiving the residents.
The new space is expected to include a set of recreational facilities and amenities, contributing to providing a new outlet for the residents of the area, especially children and families, and improving the urban landscape in the vicinity.
This operation falls within the efforts of the Bernoussi district aimed at reclaiming some underutilized spaces and repurposing them to serve the residents, pending the completion of the work and the opening of the space in its new guise to the public.
