The professional and civil career of Professor Karim Meftah, a lawyer at the Oujda Bar Association, represents a model for a young activist who excels in combining a human rights background with active engagement in the societal and political dynamics of the Oriental Region.
From the courtrooms and defending the rule of law, Professor Meftah's activity extended to establishing his presence as a prominent human rights and associational activist in the region. His career was enriched by his former membership in the Moroccan Organization for Human Rights, alongside his past civil struggle within the Consumer Protection Association of the Oriental Region, which earned him credibility and extensive knowledge of citizens' issues and the protection of their rights.
This accumulation of human rights experience was not limited to field work but also extended to training and support. He serves as a legal advisor to both the "Solidarity Association for Development and Migration" and the "Law and Justice Association," contributing to strengthening the institutional performance of civil society and consolidating the culture of rights and citizenship.
On the organizational and political level, he is considered one of the active energies within the National Rally of Independents (RNI) in Oujda, starting from his field activity in the RNI Youth wing, up to his appointment as First Deputy to the RNI Lawyers Organization for the Oriental Region and its regional coordinator in Oujda.
This combination of legal expertise and field experience was embodied during the recent electoral stations of September 23rd, when he was entrusted with the task of legal advisor for the party's list's electoral campaign in the Oujda electoral district, where he supervised legal support and procedural control throughout the campaign period.
