Consultations led by the designated Prime Minister, Fatima Ezzahra Al-Mansouri, began today, Wednesday, the day after her appointment by King Mohammed VI and her task of forming the government.
Following the delegation of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), Al-Mansouri received a delegation from the Istiqlal Party, led by the party's leader, Nizar Berka, and the leader Abdel Samad Kayouh.
Following the consultation session, the leader of the Istiqlal Party congratulated Al-Mansouri on her appointment as Prime Minister, describing the decision as a "historic moment."
Berka stressed that the upcoming phase requires a comprehensive mobilization that transcends electoral competition and strengthens the internal front to confront geostrategic, economic, and social challenges, foremost among them being employment issues, protecting citizens' purchasing power, and the issue of the Moroccan Sahara.
Berka added that the party's National Council, which will convene at the end of this week, will determine the party's decision on participating in the government or not, emphasizing that the Istiqlal Party is a national party that places the nation and the citizen above all else.
