National voter Tarek Sektioui led the Moroccan Olympic team to third place at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics.
In a related context, media reports revealed that the Syrian Football Federation wanted to sign a contract with Tariq Al-Saktiwi to lead the “Eagles of Qasioun”.
The same sources explained that the Syrian Federation has decided to choose Al-Saktiwi and is trying to contact him to make him an offer in an official capacity.
Al-Saktiwi returned to his country on Saturday with the delegation of the Moroccan Olympic team, this file not having yet been opened with the officials of the Syrian Football Federation.
The same sources point out that the officials of the Syrian Federation should contact Al-Sektiwi on Monday, to present the official offer and know the financial demands of the Moroccan coach.
Sektioui’s success with the Olympic team at the Paris Olympics is considered unprecedented in the history of Moroccan participation in the Olympics.
