The United Arab Emirates is showcasing its latest capabilities in defense, aviation, space industries, and advanced technologies during its participation in the Marrakech Air Show 2026. This participation is part of a unified national presence at the exhibition hosted in the city of Marrakech from October 7th to 10th.
The exhibition's activities are taking place at the Royal Moroccan Air Force base in Marrakech, under the patronage of King Mohammed VI. The UAE is participating with a delegation comprising a number of the most prominent companies and institutions operating in the defense, aviation, and technology sectors.
The UAE's national pavilion, in a statement released in Abu Dhabi on October 2nd, clarified that the participation is supported by the Ministry of Defense and the Tawazun Council for Defense Enablement, while the ADNEC Group, a subsidiary of "Medians," is organizing and managing the pavilion.
The Emirati pavilion includes EDGE Group, Generation 5 Holding, Multilevel Group, and Resource Industries, along with Al-Jundi and Dar Al Watan magazines, within a unified platform aimed at enhancing communication between Emirati companies and international buyers, specialized sector leaders, government representatives, and military delegations participating in the event.
The participating Emirati entities and companies are presenting a range of their solutions and capabilities in the fields of defense systems, aviation, autonomous platforms, and advanced technologies, as part of the UAE's national participation program in international defense and specialized exhibitions.
The Tawazun Council for Defense Enablement oversees the program's implementation in coordination with the Ministry of Defense, with the aim of assisting national companies operating in the defense and aviation industries in accessing new markets, expanding their network of relationships, and building partnerships with international institutions and entities.
The Tawazun Council for Defense Enablement is also participating in the exhibition's activities as part of its strategy to support and empower the Emirati defense sector, expand the scope of international partnerships, and enhance opportunities for industrial cooperation with various specialized markets and entities.
Throughout the Marrakech Air Show, the Emirati pavilion will dedicate space to highlighting the capabilities and technologies offered by the participating companies, as well as providing opportunities for direct interaction with national and international attendees. It will also promote upcoming editions of the International Defense Exhibition "IDEX," the International Defense Conference, and the Naval Defense and Security Exhibition "NAVDEX," scheduled to be held in 2027.
The Marrakech Air Show is held every two years and has, since its inception in 2008, established its position as one of the most prominent specialized events in the aviation and space sectors in Morocco, attracting over 250 high-level civilian and military delegations from around the world.
The current edition presents an opportunity to enhance international cooperation in the fields of aviation, defense, and space, and to open avenues for participating companies and institutions to explore new opportunities for partnership, investment, and the exchange of expertise and technologies.
