HIBAPRESS – Jerif
The rainfall witnessed in the province of Jerif caused a part of National Road 15, connecting Afso and Sakkah, to be flooded. This necessitated a field intervention by the local authorities, Royal Gendarmerie elements from the Sakkah territorial brigade, and Civil Protection elements.
According to available data, this road section experienced a situation requiring urgent intervention after a car was threatened with being swept away by the rainwater that flooded the road. This demanded the mobilization of various present services to deal with the situation.
The intervention was attended by the Commander of the Sakkah prefecture, along with elements from the Royal Gendarmerie and Civil Protection. Efforts were made to rescue the car and manage the field situation amidst the continued impact of rainfall on this road axis.
