HIBAPRESS – A. Mahyaoui
The Member of Parliament for the National Rally of Independents party, Abdelrahman Al-Meissouri, reacted to the content of the noble Royal Address delivered by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the members of Parliament, on the occasion of the opening of the autumn session, considering that it carries deep national messages and strategic directives that define the features of a Morocco proud of its civilizational identity, relying on its ancient history, and confidently looking forward to achieving further progress and prosperity.
Al-Meissouri affirmed that His Majesty the King's invocation of the phrase: "The most precious feeling I have in my life is my pride in my Moroccan identity," embodies the depth of attachment to the homeland, and reflects the status of Moroccan identity as a civilizational and human asset that unites Moroccans, and serves as a catalyst for continued work to strengthen the Kingdom's regional and international standing.
The RNI parliamentarian explained that pride in "Tamaghrabit" is not limited to feelings and slogans, but is primarily embodied in the commitment to serve the nation, defend its supreme interests, and actively contribute to its development path, under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
Regarding development challenges, Al-Meissouri stressed the immense importance of the Royal Address's emphasis on spatial and advanced regional justice, as these are fundamental entry points for achieving balanced and equitable development, ensuring that all regions of the Kingdom benefit from investment, basic infrastructure, and public services.
The same speaker highlighted the conditions in rural and mountainous areas, which are still awaiting accelerated development projects and enhanced access to basic services, in response to the aspirations of the inhabitants and to reduce spatial and social disparities.
He also emphasized that the current phase no longer allows for continued delay in transferring the necessary competencies and resources to the regions, stressing the need to move from strategic directives to actual implementation, by empowering the regions with the powers and capabilities that enable them to effectively and efficiently undertake their development roles.
Al-Meissouri considered that the implementation of the advanced regionalization project requires collective mobilization and shared responsibility between the government, elected officials, and the various relevant administrations and institutions, in order to overcome obstacles that hinder project implementation, accelerate the pace of completion, and link responsibility to accountability.
The parliamentarian concluded his statement by emphasizing that Morocco's strength is not only measured by its economic potential and international standing, but also by its ability to ensure dignity, fairness, and equal opportunities for all citizens, and to translate the royal vision into tangible results that citizens feel in their daily lives, wherever they reside.
