HIBAPRESS – Tiznit
The Provincial Directorate of Equipment, Transport, and Logistics for Chtouka Ait Baha has announced an international call for tenders to carry out reinforcement and expansion works on Regional Road No. 1019, previously known as No. 1016, with an estimated cost of 37,960,880 dirhams, setting October 27th as the date for opening the envelopes related to the project.
This road axis connects the provinces of Tiznit and Chtouka Ait Baha, passing through the El Khnabeeb area, and the municipalities of Massa in the Chtouka Ait Baha province, and Imen Ouglou and El Maâder in the Tiznit province, making it one of the important roads in strengthening the link between neighboring communities and regions.
The reinforcement and expansion works, if completed, will contribute to improving travel conditions and raising the level of road safety, in addition to strengthening the link between the Souss-Massa and Guelmim-Oued Noun regions, serving the travel of citizens and road users and supporting the economic and social dynamics in the areas traversed by this axis.
