Abdelilah Kadimi, the regional secretary of the Constitutional Union Party in Ain Chqaf and head of the Finance and Programming Affairs Committee at the Communal Council, reiterated his call to accelerate and deepen judicial investigations related to complaints concerning digital acts that targeted individuals and institutions within the territory of the Ain Chqaf commune. He affirmed his confidence in the competent judicial and security institutions and their ability to uncover the circumstances of this file and determine responsibilities in accordance with the law.
Kadimi explained in a statement to the local and national public opinion issued on October 13, 2026, that this stance comes after several months have passed since the previous statement, and in the context of following up on the developments of the ongoing investigations into the facts subject to the submitted complaints. He expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the competent authorities, including the regional judicial police unit affiliated with the National Security and the Royal Gendarmerie, each within its jurisdiction.
Call for Deepening Investigations and Assigning Responsibilities
The statement affirmed the necessity of continuing the investigations with the required seriousness, accelerating their pace, and deepening the related inquiries, while respecting legal procedures, guarantees of a fair trial, and the presumption of innocence.
The same source indicated that the complaints and data related to the file include allegations of acts described as intimidating and extortionate via the digital space. It considered that the continuation of such practices, when proven to be linked to the facts under investigation, necessitates clarifying their reality and determining responsibilities regarding them, in order to protect the victims and apply the necessary legal consequences.
Kadimi emphasized that the primary goal is to reach the truth, away from preconceived judgments or interpretations that may affect the course of the investigation, by relying on evidence and legal means adopted in determining responsibilities.
Demand for Digital Platforms to Cooperate with Competent Authorities
In a related context, the statement called on the company "Meta" to respond to legal requests issued by the competent authorities and to provide any available data and information relevant to the facts under investigation, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations governing the protection of personal data and judicial cooperation.
It considered that confronting cybercrimes requires strengthening cooperation between online platforms and law enforcement agencies, in order to benefit from available technical and legal means to identify the owners of accounts suspected of being linked to the acts subject to the complaints, when the necessary legal conditions are met.
Rejection of Interference with Investigations and Adherence to Legal Procedures
The statement also expressed rejection of what it described as attempts to disrupt the course of the file or influence its proceedings, affirming adherence to the available legal procedures and refraining from succumbing to rumors or unsubstantiated allegations.
Conversely, Kadimi stressed the need to deal with any allegations of interference or attempts to influence investigations in accordance with what evidence and legal procedures permit, without making prior accusations or compromising the independence of the competent authorities and the presumption of innocence.

Kadimi reiterated his confidence in the judicial and security institutions, calling for the disclosure of all circumstances related to the file, the redress of the victims, and the bringing of anyone proven responsible to justice, in accordance with the law, in a manner that strengthens the principle of accountability and protects rights and freedoms in the digital space.
