HIBAPRESS – Rabat
The Finance Bill project for the year 2027 places supporting citizens' purchasing power and consolidating the foundations of a sustainable social state among its main priorities, through a package of measures aimed at improving the social conditions of families, enhancing access to basic services, and continuing the reform of the health and education systems.
According to a statement from the Royal Court, issued after King Mohammed VI chaired a ministerial council on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Royal Palace in Rabat, which was dedicated to discussing and approving the general orientations of the Finance Bill project for the year 2027, the government intends to launch, starting next year, a structural reform of markets and prices, in addition to taking measures aimed at supporting citizens' purchasing power.
The anticipated measures include continuing the generalization of health coverage and ensuring the sustainability of its systems, increasing the value of direct social support, as well as doubling efforts aimed at qualifying the public health and education systems.
The project also gives special importance to facilitating access to decent housing, by continuing the implementation of the direct housing support program, in the context of strengthening the pillars of social protection and improving the living conditions of citizens.
