HIBAPRESS – Fikri Ouldali
As part of the efforts aimed at enhancing health awareness among women and instilling a culture of prevention and early detection, the Touya Association for Women's Action in Al Hoceima organized, on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the association's headquarters, an awareness and educational campaign on breast cancer and cervical cancer.
This initiative came in coordination with the Al Amal Association in the Issenada community, and in cooperation with the organization Médicus Mundi, with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of preventing cancerous diseases, and defining the importance of regular medical check-ups and early detection, as it is one of the most prominent means capable of improving treatment opportunities and reducing the repercussions of the disease.
The campaign provided an opportunity for direct communication with women and the presentation of a set of data and advice related to their health, in addition to encouraging them not to neglect medical examinations and to ensure regular health follow-up.
This initiative falls within the framework of civil and associative efforts aimed at promoting women's health and strengthening preventive behavior within society, contributing to spreading awareness of the importance of early diagnosis and responsible dealing with various health indicators.
This campaign once again emphasized that prevention and early detection remain fundamental pillars for protecting women's health and saving lives, given the importance of intensifying awareness initiatives and bringing health information closer to women, especially in areas that need more awareness and health guidance.
