The Directorate General of Meteorology expects to record locally heavy thunder showers with hail on Monday, October 19, in several regions of the Kingdom.
The Directorate explained, in an "orange" alert bulletin, that locally heavy thunder showers (30 to 45 mm) with hail are expected in the provinces and prefectures of Tetouan, Fahs-Anjra, Chefchaouen, Al Hoceima, Nador, Driouch, and M'Diq-Fnideq, starting from eleven in the morning of this Monday until eight in the evening.
The same source added that these two phenomena will affect, during the same period, the provinces and prefectures of El Hajeb, Moulay Yacoub, Khemisset, Meknes, Sidi Kacem, Ifrane, Fez, Berkane, Figuig, Errachidia, Larache, Sefrou, Tangier-Assilah, Midelt, and Boulemane, with amounts ranging between 20 and 30 mm.
