Bir Gandouz: FAR elements provide assistance to 186 irregular migrants

Elements of a unit of the Royal Armed Forces responsible for coastal surveillance intercepted, on Tuesday, 186 sub-Saharan candidates for irregular migration, when their pirogue ran aground, approximately 30 km south of Bir Gandouz.
The candidates, who were planning to go to the Canary Islands, received the necessary care before being handed over to the Royal Gendarmerie for the usual administrative procedures, according to a statement from the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.
