Essaouira: The prosecution places “Bedouville” under arrest for rape of a minor

The public prosecutor at the Marrakech criminal court has decided to place a suspect, a “pedophile”, in provisional detention at Oudaya prison, in order to complete the investigation concerning him in a case of rape of a minor.

The Royal Gendarmerie services, affiliated with the regional command of Essaouira, had arrested a suspect who had sexually assaulted a 13-year-old minor in the Meskala community of the province of Essaouira, as soon as the Royal Gendarmerie received the complaint from the minor’s mother and after hearing it, the searches and investigations on the perpetrator of the criminal act were intensified and the location of the perpetrator was determined, his presence and his arrest.

Preliminary data indicates that the “pedophile” has confessed to the charge attributed to him, while awaiting trial on the charge attributed to him.
