The submarine unit of the Civil Protection, a short while before this Sunday evening, managed to recover the body of a young man from the Zaraba canal in the village of Moulay Abbas in the Tassoultante commune, in the suburbs of Marrakech.
According to "HIBAPRESS" sources, the deceased drowned mysteriously this Sunday afternoon while attempting to cross to the other bank, before disappearing from sight within the water canal.
The same source added that the operation to recover the body of the deceased by the Civil Protection elements continued for long hours of searching, during which they managed to recover it and transport it to the morgue.
It is noteworthy that the body of the deceased was transported to the morgue in Marrakech in order to undergo a medical autopsy, while the Royal Gendarmerie services have opened an investigation to determine the circumstances and details of the incident.
