Moroccans’ “dull” participation in the Paris Olympics… the majority teams call up Benmoussa

The majority teams in the House of Representatives (the National Rally of Liberals, the head of the Authenticity and Modernity team and the head of the Independence team) sent a request to the president of the Education, Culture and Communication Committee to hold a committee meeting, in the presence of the Minister of Education, Nationalism, Primary Education and Sports, in order to study the results of Moroccan participation in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The majority teams explained that their request is part of the relationship between the Ministry and the sports universities participating in this session to know the aspects of disbursement of the public financial support intended for them and how to manage it, given the weakness and the boring result, on which the sports universities participating in the Paris Olympics have remained silent, but below the expected and hoped for level.

The majority teams stressed in their request that the issue requires evaluating this relationship in its various aspects, and identifying the shortcomings and inadequacies that accompanied Moroccan participation in this session, within the framework of the articulation of responsibility with the obligation to render accounts.
