The general management of Ittihad Tangier Club announced the suspension of the date of the general assembly of the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 football seasons due to a dispute with the club’s sports company.
It emerges from a statement from the management of Tangier Football Club that, in accordance with the decision of the management of Tangier Football Club to hold the general assemblies for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 sports seasons, all organizational arrangements have been made to ensure the success of this organizational station, which it was hoped would lay the foundations for a new beginning for Faris Al-Bugaz, and the reins are in place.
The statement added: “The club is in good hands, according to what will be decided by the team’s parliament.” After establishing the literary and financial reports, and in accordance with the laws in force, we took the initiative to communicate with the legal representative of the Syndicate of Tangier in order to find an agreed formula for the financial report data, considering that the sports sector It is the Association that took charge, on behalf of the company, of the financial management of the team and covered all its expenses and obligations throughout the two aforementioned seasons, at a time when the management hoped that the company would be legally insured. representative would assert the interests of the club, and would present the accounts to the attention of the general meeting to discuss and deliberate in complete transparency and take what it deemed appropriate, we were surprised by the refusal of the company’s managers to communicate with the management, despite receiving two letters from the Sports Association of Club Ittihad Tangier, dated July 24 and 29 of last year.
The communication continues: “Since the approval of the financial report that is not approved by the company is considered legally unnecessary, and is not taken into account by the Royal Moroccan Football League and the National Professional League, and faced with this legal impasse, the management has no choice but to do so.” The decision was taken to suspend the date of the general meeting for the two aforementioned seasons until a solution is found with the managers of the sports company. The club’s management hopes that the company’s managers will take into consideration the best interest of the team, while emphasizing its full availability to find a concerted solution to overcome this abnormal situation.
