Today, Tuesday, August 13, during an extraordinary session, the Community Council of Nador approved a draft amendment to collective regulatory decree No. 15 of June 19, 2006, relating to the organization of the seizure and removal of goods that are not exhibited without administrative authorization. permit on the public domain, as well as the inventory of cars and trucks washed in public streets or causing damage within the territorial perimeter of influence of the group.
The amended regulatory decision approved financial fines for violators with the aim of reducing the distortion of the city’s aesthetics and confronting all forms of chaos that lead to the pollution of public and environmental spaces.
The price of daily fines varies between 100 and 1,000 dirhams per day, depending on the type of seizure, and is multiplied by five in the event of a voluntary repeat offense.
The Collective Council has set a daily fine of 200 dirhams for each chair, table, furniture, refrigerator, electronic device and newspaper displayed on the sidewalk or in a public place without prior authorization from the competent administration, and 300 dirhams for sprinkling water or throwing mechanical vegetable oils.
The fines approved by the Collective Council of Nador also reach 1,000 dirhams for those who throw away waste from fishing trucks, and 500 dirhams for any infraction related to the disposal of construction materials in places not reserved for them.
While the fine for each mobile phone and electronic device sold in public space reaches 100 dirhams for each unit seized if its owners want to recover it from collective confiscation.
As for throwing garbage from restaurants and cafes outside the scheduled hours, the community of Nador has set the amount of the fine at 700 dirhams, 300 dirhams if the businesses exceed the limited number of gas bottles, set at 6 bottles, and 100 dirhams for displaying meat and entrails.
Regarding household waste outside the scheduled times, the community of Nador has decided to impose a fine of 200 dirhams on offenders for each offense, doubled by five in the event of an intentional repeat offense, and the same applies to the throwing of sunflower peels and food and beverage waste in places not intended for this purpose. them.
The fine also reaches 1,000 dirhams for those who throw food waste into Lake Marchica, and those who throw medical and semi-medical waste in public places.
The amount of the fine was set at 10 percent for each unit and at least 100 dirhams for those who sell new clothes on sidewalks and in public squares and spaces, and 100 dirhams for each pack of used clothes, and 5 dirhams for each plastic unit, provided that it is not less than 100 dirhams.
These fines will also be applied to animals and livestock that their owners intend to graze in the city center and in green spaces, as a form of repression that would put an end to the chaos experienced in many neighborhoods of the city, as the group has pledged to confiscate any animal or livestock caught grazing or feeding on trees, grasses and plants.
