Moroccan international Elias Akhomache joins Villarreal first team
Moroccan international Elias Akhomache, who was transferred last year from Barcelona Athletic Club to the Spanish club Villarreal, has joined the first team of the “Yellow Submarines”.
Villarreal published today Thursday on its official website the first list of teams for the 2024-2025 season, which includes Akhoumash as a striker “after playing a key role last season.”
The Spanish club wrote on the Atlas Lion’s application file: “Elias Akhoumash is a talented footballer, and despite his young age, he stands out for his attacking talent, which explains his strong emergence on the national and international football scene.”
The Moroccan international has started training with his team, after winning the bronze medal at the Paris Olympics with the national team.
Elias Akhoumash, born on April 16, 2004 in the Catalan town of Els Hostales de Pierola, appeared in 31 matches with the first team last season.
