Monkeypox mobilizes the Moroccan Ministry of Health and the Scientific Committee develops an emergency plan

Today, Friday, Khaled Ait Taleb and officials from the Ministry of Health met with members of the Scientific Committee to learn about the latest developments and developments in monkeypox, especially after it was classified as a global epidemic by the World Health Organization, with the recommendations of the Scientific Committee for precautions and a proactive emergency plan to protect our country from the spread of this deadly virus.
This meeting reviewed the effectiveness of the epidemiological vigilance and surveillance system adopted in our country, which has proven its effectiveness in the early detection of imported cases and ensuring immediate and effective intervention, so the minister stressed the need to continue strengthening this system in accordance with the recommendations issued by the World Health Organization.
The meeting discussed the approved treatment protocol for combating Monkey Pox (M-Box), where it was stressed the need for strict adherence to prescribed treatment procedures and provision of all necessary medical supplies, in order to ensure that potential cases are treated in accordance with the highest standards of health safety.
