Abu Dhabi International Chess Festival…a bronze medal for Morocco

The family team of Moroccan international master Mohamed Tayser won the bronze medal in the “Family Competition” as part of the thirtieth edition of the International Chess Festival currently taking place in Abu Dhabi.
Professor Tayser’s family has earned ten points from three wins and four draws without losing.
Sharma family of India won the gold medal with 11 points in 4 matches (1 win and 3 draws), while Yakubyev family of Uzbekistan took second place and won the silver medal, after scoring 10 points in 4 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss.
The participants of the festival, organized by the Abu Dhabi Chess and Mental Games Club, until August 25, are divided into 27 different events, which will see the inclusion of the championships of government institutions and companies, and the schools championship for the first time among its activities.
The festival activities include international masters competitions, the Open Championship (A), the Open Championship (B), junior chess for ages 8-16, open blitz chess and junior blitz chess.
