Karim Klibi, a member of the Casablanca group, issued a special statement to Heba Press denying recent reports that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) refused to rehabilitate the Larbi Zaouli stadium.
In an exclusive statement to Heba Press, Klebi confirmed that what was reported about CAF’s refusal to rehabilitate the Al-Arabi Al-Zaouli stadium is not true. He explained that a CAF committee would conduct a field visit to the stadium in the coming days. with the aim of verifying its readiness and accurately assessing its condition.
Klebi added that the visit will allow the CAF Committee to review all the updates and repairs made to the stadium, which aim to meet African Union standards.
The statements come after misinformation was spread about CAF’s position on the stadium’s rehabilitation, which has raised many questions among Raja Athletic supporters as it is hoped that the early visit will help give a clear picture of the current state of the stadium and the possibility of hosting African matches in the near future.
