Saudi club Al-Ansar has refused to sign Egyptian star Mohamed Salah
In televised statements, the Saudi journalist said: “When Salah was playing at the beginning of his career with the Egyptian club Arab Contractors, his agent offered him to the Saudi club Al-Ansar, which was later promoted to the professional league in 2012.
Fares Al-Fazi added: “But the technical director of the Saudi team at the time refused to include him on the grounds that he might not adapt to the team.”
The journalist continues: “It was a positive opportunity for Mohamed Salah’s agent. Instead of offering his client to the Saudi League, he started marketing him outside.”
