Saudi legend attacks Algerian Riyad Mahrez (video)
Saudi football legend Hussein Abdel Ghani said that Algerian Riyad Mahrez did not join the Al-Ahly team and that his experience has not been successful so far, in a press interview he gave on Monday, August 19.
‘Saudi legend’ Abdel Ghani believes Riyad Mahrez has not yet reached his well-known level with Al-Ahly.
Abdel-Ghani said in the interview that “Mahrez did not play at the level we know him to play,” and that the weakness of Al-Ahly’s group of players is not an excuse for his modest performance, and that there are individual positions that prove it, as he believes that “Mahrez did not have the technical impact expected of him with the team.”
Is this Riyad Mahrez’s level?

Mahrez, 33, remains without a title with Al-Ahly since his departure in the summer of 2023 from Manchester City in England for 35 million euros, while Al-Raqi finished last season in third place in the Saudi League standings, and were eliminated from the Cup final.
