Including 9 gold medals.. Morocco won 25 medals at the North African Karate Championship

The national karate team achieved exceptional results during its participation in the North African Karate Championship for age groups (under 14 – boys and girls – young men and women – under 21), hosted by the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on August 17-18.
According to the Royal Moroccan University of Karate and Joint Methods, the national team, composed of 27 male and female athletes, was able to achieve exceptional results, as it managed to win 25 medals, including nine gold medals, six silver medals, and ten bronze medals.
She stressed that the technical result of the participation in this tournament, which saw athletes from five teams (Egypt, the host country, Tunisia, Libya and Mauritania) compete, was very remarkable, since almost all members of the national team stood on the podium.
The Royal University of Karate and Combined Methods considered that this exceptional performance testifies to the dedication and talent enjoyed by Moroccan athletes, and demonstrates the commitment, hard work and fighting spirit that distinguishes them, as well as the quality of the supervision provided by the university.
The Egyptian team, which participated in the tournament with more than 300 athletes, was able to occupy the first place in the overall team ranking.
