Olympique de Marseille shocks Ezzedine Ouanahi, and the player waits
French club Olympique de Marseille are considering doing without the services of their Moroccan international, Ezzedine Ouanahi, during the current “Summer Transfer Window”.
According to French newspaper L’Equipe, Ezzedine Ounahi will not be part of coach Roberto De Zerbe’s future plans, which is pushing the club’s management to seek to sell the Moroccan player’s contract during the current transfer window.
According to the same newspaper, Onahi rejected an offer from Qatar this summer, while Olympique de Marseille did not agree to loan Onahi to Las Palmas, in Spain.
The newspaper indicates that the Moroccan international has two options before the end of the current “Summer Mercato”, and the case concerns an offer from a European club and the other from a Gulf team.
Since arriving in Marseille, Onahi has not had enough opportunities to fully showcase his skills, and he is currently considered outside of coach De Zerbe’s plans, which has prompted him to look for other options that would allow him to play regularly and develop his level.
Azzedine Ounahi, the Moroccan international, has a contract with Olympique de Marseille that runs until the summer of 2027. His current value on the transfer market is estimated at around 12 million euros, according to data from the website “Transfer Market”.
