Former Moroccan international Zouhair Faddal has announced his retirement from football at the age of 34, after a career in which he played for many clubs, particularly in Europe.
Faddal published a blog post on his “X” account, in which he wrote: “Honor, loyalty and sacrifice… from minute 0 to the final whistle.” Thank you for everything you have given me.
He continued: “It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it.” National team: FUS Rabat, Parma, Siena, Palermo, Levante, Alaves, Betis, Sporting Lisbon, Valladolid, Alanyaspor.
Honor, security and sacrifice… the minute 0 until the final silbato ends. Gracias for all that made me live.
Nothing could be simpler, it’s much more expensive.

Faddal also expressed his gratitude to the clubs that gave him the opportunity to play in their ranks, including amateur and youth clubs, saying: “Because I was made in the mud, and thanks to you, I was able to meet great people and discover the world. Honor, loyalty and sacrifice from the first minute until the final whistle. Thank you for everything you have given me.”
It is worth noting that Zuhair Faddal played his last season with Alanyaspor in the penultimate season, and was left without a team last season, before deciding to hang up his boots at the start of the new season.
