Cristiano Ronaldo, five-time Ballon d’Or winner, officially launched his YouTube channel this Wednesday. In just a few hours, this new adventure on the platform has met with phenomenal success, with more than 7 million subscribers already registered.
For several weeks, the 39-year-old Portuguese star had been teasing this project on his social networks, arousing the anticipation of millions of fans around the world. But for those who were hoping to find the best compilations of his exploits on the field, the channel instead offers new content: moments of private life alongside his partner Georgina Rodriguez and their children. A dozen videos are already available, offering a unique glimpse into the star’s personal life.
Among the videos already posted online, we can see his son, Cristiano Jr., evaluating his father’s best goals at the Euro, as well as a version of “Z’amours” between Ronaldo and Georgina.
Georgina Rodriguez also spoke out in a video, saying that the channel would be a “guaranteed success.” She added that the couple wants to show a more human side of their lives, giving fans the opportunity to discover “things they don’t know yet.”
With this new project, Cristiano Ronaldo already seems well on his way to conquering the world of YouTube, adding another string to his already well-stocked bow. Fans, for their part, are delighted to be able to discover another side of their idol, far from the football pitches.
