A Chinese group decides to invest 500 billion in a lithium battery factory in Tangier

Morocco continues, thanks to its assets and its promising potential, to attract the main global investors, and this time it is a renowned Chinese group specializing in the manufacturing of lithium batteries, which has already had investment experiences in the kingdom.

In this context, the Chinese group “Xinzhoumei”, specialized in the production of anodes for lithium batteries, has decided to invest 500 million dollars, or approximately 500 billion centimes, in the city of Tangier.

This colossal project is expected to cover an area of ​​30 hectares, create 1,500 jobs in the region, and the “Xinzhoumei” factory in Tangier Tech will focus on the production of anodes for lithium batteries, an essential element of the electric battery industry
