Earthquake hits Safi coast

The American earthquake monitoring site recorded that an earthquake struck yesterday, Saturday August 24, the coast of the city of Safi.

The earthquake reached a magnitude of 3.5 on the Richter scale at exactly 5:30 p.m., at 33.119° north latitude and 10.111° west longitude, at a depth of 23 kilometers below sea level.

The inhabitants of Safi and its surroundings did not feel this earthquake.
