English giant pushes to sign Moroccan Bilal Khanous

The management of English club Leicester City are continuing their efforts to recruit Moroccan star Bilal Khanous from Belgian club Genk. This is during the ongoing summer transfer window.

Some of Europe’s top clubs are keen to sign Bilal Al-Khanous in the current summer transfer window, but the Genk administration’s significant financial demands are so far holding back the deal.

Press reports have revealed that Leicester City have made a new offer to sign Al-Khanous from Genk, with the English club saying they have made an offer worth €18 million, plus €1 million in incentives.

The same information reports that Genk officials were demanding more than 20 million euros and had not conducted the negotiations in a positive manner despite the improved offer presented by Leicester City.

The same information confirms that Bilal Al-Khanous expressed his anger at the way the Genk administration handled Leicester City’s offer, due to his great desire to join the English Premier League, and he refrained from training with his club Genk on Monday to put pressure on the club’s management to approach the negotiations in a positive manner.

Al-Khanous, 20, is under contract with Belgian club Genk until June 30, 2027.
