Morocco records 17 new COVID-19 cases, no deaths

Morocco recorded 17 Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, raising the total of cases since the beginning of the outbreak to 1.264.920.

The kingdom has not reported any Covid-19-related death in the past 24 hours.

As of Wednesday, the Ministry of Health reported a total of 16.278 people who died from Covid-19.

Morocco continues to bid on its national vaccination campaign, in an effort to contain the spread of the coronavirus.

According to the ministry’s latest tally, 24.905.509 people received their first Covid-19 vaccine shot, while 23.401.626 were fully inoculated.

Morocco has also administered a total of 6 815 728 booster shots, as of Wednesday, and 49.226 4th booster jabs.
